Five years of Coram Hempsall’s coffee breaks: Connection, conversation, and community

Five years ago in July 2020, we launched a simple idea with big impact: short, timely conversations designed to bring you together for reflection, learning, and support. Hempsall’s Coffee Breaks began as a way to pause amidst busy schedules, offering insight and inspiration in accessible, bite-sized sessions. Born during the isolation, confusion, and pressures of the pandemic, they continue as a cherished part of all our work rhythms.

Through over 100 coffee breaks, thousands have logged on for an hour of honesty, expertise, and friendship. From funded entitlements to workforce wellbeing, Coffee Breaks have tackled sector challenges with warmth and clarity, creating a safe space for discussion and shared understanding.

More than just a webinar, each Coffee Break has championed connection. Whether sparking new ideas or reaffirming best practice, we have all fostered a community that listens, grows, and evolves together.
