Government continues to promote healthy lifestyles as they start in the early years, are embedded throughout school, and are inextricably linked to healthier outcomes later in life. Our Movement Matters training is helping educators and childcarers to include physical activity into everyday pedagogy, linking it to cognitive development, and creating holistic approaches that support better all-round achievements and child development outcomes.

We believe that positive physical development is a result of an active habits that form part an inclusive thread through teaching practice and one that acknowledges the range of learning styles.

Regular active habits that form a routine, lifestyle, or approach nurture the future relationship with physical activity, making it the long-term ‘norm’. Of course, activity and healthy eating education go hand in hand, along with the impact of cognitive development and wellness.

At Coram Hempsall’s we know that movement matters, and we encourage an active approach to learning where possible , appreciating all learning styles and considering the impacts we can have on children’s future by giving them the best start in life and helping build those stronger foundations.
